The well-known Nigerian musician Ayodeji Balogun, commonly known as Wizkid, is facing the sorrowful loss of his mother.
Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, Wizkid's mother, passed away around 1:30 am on Friday.
Sunday Aare, Wizkid's longtime manager, verified the incident to The PUNCH, announcing that Mrs. Balogun peacefully passed away during the early hours of Friday. "Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am," Aare confirmed.
The late Mrs. Balogun was the mother of two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
