No Evidence Of Naira Marley’s Involvement In Mohbad’s Death – Lawyer

Olalekan Ojo, the legal representative of Afeez Fashola, more commonly known as Naira Marley, has firmly refuted the widespread claims connecting his client to the demise of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.

The young and promising singer passed away on September 12 under circumstances surrounded by controversy, prompting several police inquiries.

In a video conversation with social media influencer Daddy Freeze, Naira Marley's lawyer adamantly stated that there exists no substantiated evidence to suggest that his client was involved in any form of mistreatment towards the late Mohbad.

Ojo said:

“As for Naira Marley, I believe very strongly that no matter how hard you look, you will not find a single incident where Naira Marley bullied him.”

Ojo clarified that the events depicted in a widely circulated video, where the controversial Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, appeared to confront Mohbad but was intervened by Zlatan during a video shoot, had been misunderstood by the public.

The lawyer explained that Larry, Mohbad, and Zlatan had resolved their differences and even shared a meal of "Amala" together after the incident. He emphasized that a longer version of the video depicted the three of them interacting positively.

He recalled,

“Sometimes in June 2023, he (Sam Larry) came to Elegushi beach and heard some musicians were shooting a musical video, so he wanted to see who they were. Remember that in that video, he said so it’s even you.

“That video is a nine-second video, and it will interest you to know that there is a longer version showing these guys eating Amala together after the incident.”
