Music artiste Portable emphatically stated that he will never resort to faking his own death as a publicity stunt for his album. He conveyed this message through an Instagram post on Thursday, addressing ongoing rumors about rapper Oladips, whose alleged demise was announced last week Tuesday. The speculation gained traction when Oladips' management unexpectedly released his album just two days after the reported death.
Adding to the controversy, the rapper's friend and fellow artist, Qdot, asserted Oladips' continued existence by sharing a photo on Instagram, captioned: "My friend is still alive." In response to the swirling rumors, Portable recorded a video emphasizing his commitment to authentic promotion, stating categorically that he would never exploit the concept of death for the sake of boosting album sales.

“Life never tire me ooo! Me I no go use my death promote my album o! Fans mi I wan drop my album celebrate me when I am still alive,” Portable said as he announced his 19 tracks album which he said would be released on Friday.
“I’m still alive. Celebrate me when I’m still alive, una no go post my RIP,” the Zazu star added.
