The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially concluded the registration process for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as of Monday, Feb. 26, according to the board's Weekly Bulletin from the Office of the Registrar in Abuja.
The 2024 UTME registration commenced on Monday, Jan. 15, spanning over 700 Computer Based Tests (CBT) centers nationwide. JAMB reported a successful registration of nearly two million candidates for the 2024 examination, with 260,249 candidates expressing interest in participating in the mock examination.
The board disclosed that the optional mock UTME is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 7. Candidates who have registered for the mock examination are instructed to print their mock notification slips starting from Tuesday, Feb. 27. These slips contain essential details such as the candidates' registration number, venue, time, and date of the examination, along with other necessary instructions.
Highlighting the importance of these details for the candidates' participation, JAMB emphasized, "It is imperative for the candidate to be aware of this vital piece of information." The board also noted that candidates can conveniently print the slips from any location with internet access.
To obtain the mock notification slips, candidates are directed to visit www.jamb.gov.ng, click on e-facility, and proceed to print their slips. The 2024 UTME itself is scheduled to take place from Friday, April 19, to Monday, April 29, at accredited CBT centers across the country.
