Olajumoke Orisaguna, the former bread seller who gained fame in 2019 after being discovered during a photoshoot, has spoken out about her struggles and alleged mistreatment by celebrities.
During an appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, Olajumoke disclosed that many of the opportunities she participated in were unpaid, despite public claims to the contrary. She specifically mentioned her experience with singer Harrysong, alleging that she was not compensated for her role in his "Chacha" music video.
“I went to Harrysong’s house in Lekki and danced for his video. He claimed in a written statement that he paid me N400K, but it’s untrue. I did it for free. He didn’t pay me anything,” she said.
Olajumoke also highlighted other instances where she felt exploited, including receiving only N200K for work that involved international travel.
“They took me to South Africa for work and paid me just N200K,” she recounted.
